Education In 1997, I graduated from Birchmount Park Collegiate in Scarborough as Student Council President. I attended the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus from 1997 to 2001. I completed my Honours Bachelors of Science Degree majoring in Neuroscience and graduated from UofT as the class of 2001. I was accepted into the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) immediately upon my university graduation. I recently graduated a four year Doctor of Chiropractic program in the class of 2005 and I have begun practicing in a private clinic. |

Sports I am a baton twirler! Baton twirling is very much like rhythmic gymnastics, where gymnastics, dance, and twirling skills are combined to result in the sport of baton. Currently I am the 2002 & 2003 Canadian National Senior Women's Freestyle Champion. My team "Starlight Destiny Sports Performance Club" (formerly known as "King's National") is the Canadian Gold Medalists in five team divisions. My team was granted the right to become the Canadian contingent that would represent Canada at the 2003 World Baton Twirling Championship (NBTA) in Marseille, France. There we accomplished Canada's best placing results ever, coming home with a silver and a bronze medal. Individually, my freestyle routine captured 10th place in the world, choreographed to John Lennon's "Imagine". I have been involved in twirling and gymnastics for over 19 years. I have been on the national circuit since 1989 when I won my first national title in Richmond, British Columbia. I have attended various international and world championship events such as the 1993 World Baton Twirling Championships (WBTF) in The Netherlands where I won the bronze medal in the Junior Pairs event. Presently I am contemplating retirement, but actively pursuing coaching and judging in the CNBTA. |

More on Modeling I was Miss Molson Indy Canada 2003 and Miss Molson Indy Toronto 2003. I won each of these titles at the Vancouver and Toronto Molson Indy events during the summer of 2003. The Miss Molson Indy model search is a sports model competition that is comprised of an interview section, photographic judging, swimwear judging, and a sport routine talent (I did baton twirling). This was the first year for the Miss Molson Indy Toronto competition, but that ultimately granted me the right to compete in Vancouver for the national Miss Indy title. When I won in Vancouver, part of my prize was to become an ambassador for Canada at the Surfer's Paradise Lexmark Indy in Australia in October 2003. In Australia, I participated in numerous CART events and promotional activities as well as shooting the Miss Indy 2005 Calendar. I've worked in conjunction with Molson to help promote and be a part of the 2004 Toronto and Vancouver Molson Indy events.
www.faceofchampcar.com Modeling is something that I participate in but do not rely solely on. Winning the Miss Molson Indy Canada 2003 title is the highlight of my modeling career to date, but I had never even attempted modeling until the 2000 CHIN Picnic here in Toronto, where I competed in the Miss CHIN International Bikini competition. CHIN is a multicultural radio/TV station that features over 32 languages on their broadcasts. They throw the world's largest free picnic every Canada Day long weekend in July at Exhibition Place. It was my first pageant of any kind, and I won the honour of becoming Miss CHIN 2000. I represented CHIN for the year of 2000-2001, and had the honour of getting to know Johnny Lombardi (the founder of CHIN and a Toronto legend) and his wonderful family that presently run CHIN following Johnny's death in 2002. Currently I am always looking for new modeling opportunities while still balancing my new career as a chiropractor -- I enjoy a little fun and excitement in the modeling world and am constantly up for new challenges. |
